Open / Adjustable Types

Standard LM..UU Linear Bearings
Standard LM..UU represents the standard / short closed cylindrical range. Use the Standard LM..UU product page for current model sourcing and quotation. Confirm dimensions and ratings for the selected model before replacement or ordering.
LM..LUU Long-Type Linear Bearings
LM..LUU is the extended / long-type closed format within the LM family. The LM..LUU long-type product page contains the current approved model-specific supplier data. Check overall length and housing space as well as the complete designation.
LME..LUU Long-Type Linear Bearings
LME..LUU is a separately sourced long-type metric series with its own designation and dimensional system. Consult the LME..LUU long-type product page for its model dimensions and ratings; do not assume compatibility with LM..LUU from shaft diameter alone.

How to Choose Between LM Bearing Types
- Start with the complete designation and shaft diameter.
- Compare outside diameter and overall length with the housing bore and available installation space.
- Review the flange or mounting arrangement, retention method and shaft/housing alignment.
- Confirm model-specific dynamic and static load requirements, load direction and operating conditions.
- Review sealing, lubrication and the operating environment together.
Dynamic and static ratings are separate selection inputs; neither establishes a universal allowable machine load. Use the selected model’s data and application requirements for final confirmation.
Replacement and Interchangeability
A matching shaft diameter alone does not establish interchangeability. Compare the complete designation, outside diameter, overall length, housing arrangement, mounting features, sealing and load requirements.
For replacement, send the old brand/model, photograph or drawing and machine dimensions where available. Standard LM..UU, LM..LUU and LME..LUU must be checked as separate series. No performance improvement is implied by selecting a longer format.
