Product Overview

Heavy-Duty Fastening with a Balanced Double-Bolt Structure

The Double-Bolt Heavy-Duty Hose Clamp is built for hose and pipe connections that require more substantial fastening than a light-duty worm-drive clamp. Two opposing bolt assemblies tighten the wide steel band around the connection, creating a rigid and serviceable mechanical joint.

When both bolts are tightened progressively and evenly, the clamp can apply force more symmetrically around the pipe or hose connection. The design also provides a broad adjustment range, making it useful across industrial piping, machinery, agriculture, irrigation, drainage and marine systems.

DISLAB PRECISION supplies W1 carbon-steel, W4 stainless-steel and W5 SS316 configurations, with 20 mm and 24 mm band widths covering standard listed clamping ranges from 30–40 mm through 300–310 mm.

Design Features

Built for Strong Mechanical Retention

The clamp combines a wide steel band with two bolt assemblies to provide a substantial fastening structure for demanding hose and pipe installations.

01

Double-Bolt Tightening

Two opposing bolts allow the installer to tighten the clamp from both sides, supporting a secure mechanical connection around larger hose and pipe diameters.

02

High Break Torque

The heavy-duty structure is designed for applications where a substantial clamp body and strong fastening mechanism are preferred.

03

Excellent Tensile Force

The wide band and paired fasteners provide a robust structure for maintaining mechanical retention around industrial hose and pipe connections.

04

Large Adjustment Range

Standard sizes cover a broad range of pipe and hose diameters, from 30 mm class connections to applications exceeding 300 mm.

Product Structure

Wide Band with Opposing Bolt Assemblies

The clamp surrounds the connection with a wide band while two bolt assemblies draw the structure together during installation.

Tighten Both Bolts Progressively

For installation, the clamp should be positioned squarely around the connection and the two bolts tightened progressively rather than fully tightening one side first. This helps keep the clamp aligned and allows the two-bolt structure to work as intended.

Practical Function

What Problems Does a Double-Bolt Heavy-Duty Hose Clamp Help Solve?

The design is particularly useful when larger connection diameters, wider contact surfaces and stronger mechanical fastening are required.

Insufficient Holding Strength

Lightweight clamps may not provide the structure required for larger or more demanding connections. The paired bolt system provides a more substantial fastening arrangement.

Uneven Tightening

Tightening from two opposing fastening points gives the installer greater control over clamp alignment and force distribution around the connection.

Large Hose and Pipe Diameters

Standard configurations extend to 300–310 mm, providing options for larger industrial hoses, drainage lines and piping connections.

Corrosive Service Environments

W4 stainless steel and W5 SS316 configurations provide material alternatives where greater corrosion resistance is required than general carbon steel.

Product FAQ

Double-Bolt Heavy-Duty Hose Clamp FAQ

Practical answers for purchasing teams comparing clamp diameter, bolt size, materials and heavy-duty pipe clamp designs.

Why use two bolts instead of a single-bolt clamp?

Two fastening points provide a substantial mechanical structure around the connection. When the bolts are tightened progressively and evenly, the installer can control clamp alignment and tightening from both sides.

When does the clamp change from a 20 mm to a 24 mm band?

The listed 30–40 mm through 80–90 mm sizes use a 20 mm wide band. Beginning with the 90–100 mm range, the table lists a 24 mm wide band.

What bolt sizes are used?

Sizes up to 80–90 mm use M6 × 50 bolts. The 90–100 mm configuration lists M8 × 50 bolts, while sizes from 100–110 mm upward use M8 × 60 bolts.

What is the difference between W1, W4 and W5?

W1 uses galvanized carbon-steel components. W4 uses SS200/SS300-series stainless steel for the listed clamp components. W5 uses SS316 where greater corrosion resistance is required.

Can the clamp be used in marine applications?

Marine and offshore applications are among the listed uses. Material selection remains important, and W5 SS316 can be considered where the installation requires higher corrosion resistance.

Can it be used for irrigation and sludge suction hoses?

Agriculture, irrigation, drainage and sludge suction are listed applications. The selected clamp diameter still needs to match the installed hose and fitting dimensions.

How should the correct clamp size be selected?

Measure the actual outside diameter after the hose is installed over the fitting. Select a clamp range that covers this assembled dimension rather than using the nominal hose bore alone.

What information should I send for a quotation?

Send the installed outside diameter, required clamp range, material class, quantity, application, operating environment, destination country and any packaging or OEM requirements.
